Sage is a personal portfolio project. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to data you enter.

What's stored. Account/email, name, and whatever financial data you choose to enter (accounts, transactions, goals, planned trades, settings) are stored in the app's database to make the features work. Passwords are hashed (never stored in plain text); Google sign-in uses a verified token exchange rather than storing a password at all.

Third-party calls. Trade Planning and Reports features send anonymized prompts (financial figures, no personal identifiers like name/email) to a third-party LLM API (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Groq, depending on configuration) to generate forecasts and summaries. Market price data is fetched from a free third-party market-data endpoint.

No selling of data. This isn't a commercial product — nothing you enter is sold, shared with advertisers, or used for anything beyond making the app's own features work.

Demo account. Data in the shared “View Demo” account is not private — anyone using the demo can see and modify it, and it should not be treated as confidential.

Deleting your data. Since this is a demo project without a support team, deleting your account currently means removing individual records (accounts, transactions, etc.) yourself from within the app, or contacting the project owner directly.
